Smart Bid Manager

Smart Bid Manager is a must tool for Overture (former goto.com) advertisers. Overture offers well-known "pay-per-click" advertisement program. You select the search terms that are relevant to your site, and choose how much to pay when customers click on your listings. The higher you bid, the higher your site appears in the search results. Smart Bid Manager is a software tool which checks your bidding report automatically and warns you if your search term position has changed (for example because your competitor has overridden your bid). Smart Bid Manager will also warn you if your bid is not optimal (i.e., you're paying more than necessary). For instance, Advertiser A places a $0.10 bid for a given search term, Advertiser B places a $0.15 bid and your bid is $0.16 (so you're number one). Suppose that Advertiser B has gone. Now you can lower your bid to $0.11 and you'll still be number one. You can save $0.05 per every click! This way, you can save your money using Smart Bid Manager! The purchase of Smart Bid Manager may pay for itself within one to three months (exact term depending on your advertising budget).
